Terms & Conditions
Effective date: 1 May 2026
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of PosturalOrthodontics.com (the “Site”) and any seminars, workshops, livestreams, self-paced training, the Clinical Case Study Vault, mentoring programs, free resources, or other services we offer (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing the Site, registering for any Service, or otherwise interacting with us, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or our Services.
1. Who We Are
Postural Orthodontics (“we”, “us”, “our”, the “Company”) is an educational platform founded by Dr. Simon Wong (Melbourne, Australia) and co-founded by Kean Wong (New York, USA). We deliver in-person and online training, mentoring, and clinical case content for dental and allied-health professionals.
2. Eligibility & Professional Audience
Our Services are designed for licensed dental and allied-health professionals, students of those professions, and informed adult learners (such as dentist-parents) who understand the clinical context. By registering, you confirm that:
- You are at least 18 years old.
- The information you provide about your profession, qualifications, and country is accurate.
- You will use the Services in a manner consistent with the laws, professional codes of conduct, and licensing requirements that apply to you.
3. Registration & Account Information
3.1 Registration
To enroll in a paid program, attend a live event, or access certain restricted content, you must register through the official Site or a designated partner platform. Registration confirms acceptance of these Terms. Keep your contact and login information accurate and up to date so we can deliver access details, reminders, and continuing-education verification.
3.2 Account security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any login credentials and for any activity that occurs under your account. Do not share your access with others. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised use.
4. Programs, Events & Online Access
4.1 Live and online events
Whether you join a seminar in person or via our online livestream platform, your participation is subject to these Terms. Specific access details (venue address, livestream link, recording library, mentoring schedules) are provided after registration is complete.
4.2 Professional conduct
- You will follow all rules, policies, and procedures of the event venue and the online event platform, including those concerning health, safety, and digital etiquette.
- You will conduct yourself professionally and respectfully at all times, and will not engage in behaviour that could violate laws, breach professional standards, or damage the reputation of the event, the Company, or its participants.
- You are responsible for arranging your own insurance for personal accident, travel, and any other risks associated with attending the event, where applicable.
- For in-person attendees, securing the necessary travel documentation, vaccinations, visas, and compliance with the host country’s laws is your sole responsibility.
4.3 Compliance
You must comply with all applicable laws, the rules of the event venue, and any instructions provided by event organisers, including public-health guidance and technical requirements for online participation.
4.4 Personal responsibility
Attendance, whether in person or online, is undertaken at your own risk. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company disclaims responsibility for any personal injury, property damage, or other loss incurred by participants.
4.5 Business activities
Only officially recognised sponsors and exhibitors may conduct business activities or distribute promotional materials within the event space or online platform. Unauthorised commercial activities may result in removal from the event and platform.
5. Content, Recordings & Intellectual Property
5.1 Our content
All Site and program content — including presentations, slides, recordings, livestreams, written materials, case files, the Clinical Case Study Vault, transcripts, photographs, illustrations, branding, and software — is the property of the Company or its licensors, and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws.
5.2 Limited licence
Subject to your compliance with these Terms and any program-specific licence, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access the content for your own learning and clinical practice. You may not:
- Copy, redistribute, mirror, sublicense, sell, or commercially exploit the content;
- Share login credentials, recordings, or downloaded materials with third parties;
- Republish, repackage, or use the content to develop a competing program;
- Strip out, obscure, or alter any copyright notices, watermarks, or attributions; or
- Use any automated means (scraping, crawling, AI training extraction) to access the Site or content without our prior written permission.
5.3 Patient case material
Patient case files inside the Clinical Case Study Vault and similar resources are shared for educational purposes under the consent and de-identification practices of the contributing clinicians. You agree to treat all patient information as strictly confidential, to use it only for your own learning and clinical reasoning, and not to re-identify, publish, or share it externally.
5.4 Photography & recording by participants
Unauthorised photography, video recording, or audio recording of any event, livestream, or mentoring session is prohibited. The Company may record events, mentoring calls, and case discussions and use such recordings for educational, archival, training, and promotional purposes. Where you appear or speak in a recording, you grant the Company a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use your name, voice, image, and contributions in those recordings, except where required by law to seek further consent.
6. Educational Use Only — No Clinical, Medical or Legal Advice
Important. Our content is provided for educational and informational purposes only. It is not a substitute for the professional clinical judgement, examination, diagnosis, or treatment of a qualified clinician, and it is not medical or legal advice.
You are solely responsible for clinical decisions you make for your own patients. Apply any concept, technique, or appliance only within the scope of your training, licensure, and the regulatory requirements of your jurisdiction. Where appropriate, seek peer review, supervision, or referral. The Company is not responsible for outcomes arising from your application of the content.
7. Continuing Education (PACE/AGD & Equivalents)
Where a program is approved for continuing education through PACE/AGD or another accreditation body, completion criteria, attendance requirements, and verification timelines are set by that body and communicated at the time of enrollment. The Company will issue verification only when the relevant criteria have been met. CE approval does not imply endorsement of any commercial product or technique.
8. Payments, Pricing & Subscriptions
8.1 Pricing & currency
Prices for programs, events, and the Clinical Case Study Vault are listed on the Site and may be presented in US Dollars, Australian Dollars, or another currency depending on the program. Prices may change from time to time; the price shown at the point of purchase is the price you pay. Taxes, duties, and currency-conversion fees are your responsibility unless explicitly stated otherwise.
8.2 Payment plans
Where we offer instalment plans (for example, payments spread over 3–12 months), you authorise the Company or our payment processor to charge each scheduled instalment to the payment method you provided. Failure of an instalment payment may result in suspension of access until the balance is brought current.
8.3 Subscriptions & renewals
The Clinical Mentoring Program and similar subscription-based services renew on a rolling basis at the cadence agreed at enrollment (typically monthly or in 3-month minimums). You may cancel future renewals by giving written notice before the next renewal date. Access to live mentoring and Vault content is contingent on an active subscription, except where lifetime access is explicitly granted.
9. Cancellations & Refunds
9.1 Cancellations by you
Cancellations must be requested in writing to info@PosturalOrthodontics.com. Cancellation fees may apply depending on the program and how close to the start date the request is received. Where digital content has already been accessed or unlocked, refunds may be partial or unavailable.
9.2 Changes to programs
The Company reserves the right to modify the schedule, format, location, faculty, or content of any program without prior notice where reasonable to do so (for example, faculty illness, venue change, force majeure, or substantial program improvement). In the unlikely event we cancel a program in full, we will offer a refund or credit toward a future event at our discretion.
9.3 Right to refuse entry or remove participants
The Company reserves the right to refuse entry to, or remove from, any event or online platform any participant whose conduct, in our reasonable judgement, breaches these Terms or compromises the safety, professionalism, or integrity of the program. No refund is owed in such cases.
9.4 Liability for participant conduct
You are liable for any loss or damage caused to the Company, the event venue, the online platform, or other participants as a result of your misconduct or breach of these Terms, and we may seek compensation. No refund of fees will be issued where access has been terminated for a breach.
10. Acceptable Use of the Site
You agree not to:
- Use the Site or Services in violation of any law or these Terms;
- Interfere with, probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Site or our infrastructure;
- Bypass any access or copy-protection measures;
- Upload viruses, malicious code, or attempt to disrupt service for other users;
- Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation; or
- Harvest user information for unsolicited messaging or unrelated commercial use.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Site and Services are provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that the content will produce any particular clinical, financial, or professional outcome. Reliance on any opinion, advice, or information made available through the Services is solely at your own risk.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company, its affiliates, officers, faculty, contractors, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, clinical outcomes, or anticipated savings, arising out of or related to your use of the Site or Services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of the Services will not exceed the fees you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or US$100, whichever is greater.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law (including, in Australia, certain rights under the Australian Consumer Law).
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Company, its affiliates, officers, faculty, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any claim, demand, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) made by any third party arising out of: (a) your use of the Site or Services; (b) your breach of these Terms; (c) your violation of any law or third-party right; or (d) any clinical decision you make in your own practice.
14. Privacy
Your privacy matters to us. The information collected through registration and Site interaction is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
15. Third-Party Links & Tools
The Site may include links to third-party websites, tools, or platforms (for example, video hosts, payment processors, scheduling tools, social media, or partner organisations). We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those third parties. Their terms and privacy policies will govern your use of them.
16. Modifications to the Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our Services, business practices, or applicable law. The “Effective date” at the top of this page will be updated whenever we do so. Material changes will be communicated more prominently — for example by email (where we have your address) or via a notice on the Site. Continued use of the Site or Services after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
17. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You and the Company agree to attempt in good faith to resolve any dispute through informal discussion before commencing any formal proceeding. Where a dispute cannot be resolved informally, the courts of Victoria, Australia (or the federal courts located there) will have non-exclusive jurisdiction. Nothing in this clause prevents you from raising a complaint with a relevant consumer-protection or professional-regulatory body in your own jurisdiction.
18. Severability & Entire Agreement
If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any program-specific enrollment agreement, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Company regarding your use of the Site and Services, and supersede any prior understanding on the same subject.
19. Acknowledgement
By registering for any Service, attending an event, or using the Site, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms.
