Your training options, in 7 minutes —
what each costs, and how long it takes.

Learning the technique isn’t the hard part — finishing your first real case well…is. So this pathway doesn’t have to stop at training: you can submit your cases, and Dr. Wong reviews them with you. Below is every step, what each costs, and how soon you could be treating.

Overview

Our training is in early interceptive orthodontics for children aged 4–10 — guiding facial and airway growth with custom upper and lower expansion appliances, Dr. Wong’s Good Oral Posture Exercises (GOPex), and posture.

Most people arrive wanting one of two things: to treat their own child, or to offer this in their practice. The pathway is the same either way — only how far along it you must go before Dr. Wong mentors you on live cases.

It is all on-demand recorded training at your own pace with LIVE weekly Q&A support with Dr. Wong — nothing requires travel. Most reach the mentoring threshold (those that are serious) within two to three months of part-time study; treatment then runs 12–18 months per child.

This is not a weekend course. Early interceptive postural orthodontics is a specialised clinical discipline, and we train it like one — roughly 120 hours of structured training, a 400+ hour case vault, and ongoing case review with Dr. Wong. You’ll be treating your first case within months, not years.

01

Where almost everyone starts —
the 2-Day Intro Recordings

About 14 hours of recorded training covering the foundation: the appliances, GOPex, diagnosis and the protocol end to end. 14 CE hours (AGD Subject Code 370 — Orthodontics · Self-instruction) are available as an optional add-on, verified through the PACE Program with the AGD and recognised by dental boards across the US and Canada.

Outside the US or Canada? You still receive a certificate of completion showing the hours. Dentists in Australia, the UK, New Zealand and elsewhere generally self-report these to their own regulator — worth confirming with your board.

02

Going deeper —
the 4 Advanced Modules

LAB Day, Advanced Phase-1, Clinical Day and Advanced Phase-2 — appliance design, diagnosis, chairside decisions, growth and airway. 31 hours of training, 24 of them AGD/PACE CE-verified (Subject Code 370 — Orthodontics).

Watch about an hour of Clinical Day for free. A videographer followed a visiting dentist through a full day at Dr. Wong’s clinic — 19 patients, ~7.5 hours. Four sessions are open as free previews: children aged 6, 8, 8 and 11, two reviewed in depth. See all 19 patients →

03

When can you join mentorship?

Mentorship is by application (an online form, read by Dr. Wong personally), with a training threshold before he will take you on — set by what you intend to treat, not by budget:

How long does that take? It is self-paced, but as a guide: an hour a day reaches 26 hours in about a month, and 45 in roughly eight weeks. At 30 minutes a day, double it. Short chapters, made to watch between patients — not a week you have to block out.

The threshold isn’t arbitrary: once you start a child’s treatment, you own it — and you shouldn’t be learning the protocol on a real patient. It’s also why the mentorship is just-in-time: you bring the case you’re treating this fortnight, and get Dr. Wong’s read on it before your next appointment — not six months after you needed it.

04

1:1 Clinical Mentorship with Dr. Wong

Virtual, 1:1 and small-group, generally every two weekends. You submit your own cases — records, photos, x-rays — and Dr. Wong reviews them with you on camera. Tiers are set by clinical responsibility, not just budget.

You won’t be doing it alone. The small group is 10–12 dentists, and they won’t all be starting where you are — some will be six months in, others two or three years deep. You watch their cases reviewed alongside your own, and the question you’re nervous to ask has usually already been asked by someone a year ahead of you. Between calls you’re all in a lively private WhatsApp group (along with Dr. Wong) — so a question that comes up mid-appointment doesn’t have to wait a fortnight.

Minimum commitment is three months at a time, so you can pause and rejoin. Most stay around 18 months — roughly how long a case runs.

Active mentorship includes the entire Clinical Case Study Vault, including its ~70 hours of clinical-practice training.

The Clinical Case Study Vault —
if you’d rather work through it on your own

The Vault is not a starting point. Access opens once you’ve completed the 2-Day Intro and at least 2 of the 4 Advanced Modules — the foundation in 03. The case reviews assume you already know the protocol. The two bundled options below include that training.
0+
Real Clinical Cases Submitted by clinicians in Dr. Wong's program.
0
Angle Classifications All cases categorized by Class I, II Div 1/2, III high/low etc.

Six years of Dr. Wong’s real case reviews, filed by malocclusion type.

Follow a case through its stages — photos, x-rays, appliance designs and Dr. Wong’s guidance. Self-study access includes the live weekly Q&A with Dr. Wong — general questions on the core curriculum, not case submissions.

Payment plans available, spread over 3–12 months.

The shortcut —
the Growth Protocol Accelerator

Up to ~52% off

Bought separately these pieces run to roughly US$4,200–$5,700 — the 2-Day Intro, the Advanced Modules, and a 6–9 month share of Vault access. The Accelerator bundles the foundation, all four Advanced Modules and a Vault immersion into one rate — straight to the mentorship threshold.

07

So what does it add up to?

Two realistic totals, depending on what you’re setting out to do:

Across the whole curriculum that is roughly 120 hours of structured recorded training, a clinical practice manual running to several hundred pages, and the Case Study Vault (350+ hours of recorded mentorship calls from 2021 till present).

08

Before you spend anything —
is this right for you and your cases?

Your cases. Our Postural Orthodontic protocols are suitable only for cases requiring mild to moderate expansion — which is approximately 70–80% of all cases — with treatment typically taking 12–18 months.

Severe cases, including hyperdivergent cases, require other techniques and can take 4–6 years even for Dr. Wong. They are outside the scope of Postural Orthodontics — better to know now than after you enroll.

And you. Are you coachable? It matters more here than how long you’ve been practising. The pathway is already proven — the protocol is what it is for reasons worked out over hundreds of cases — so the question isn’t whether it works. It’s whether you’ll run it as taught before you start adapting it.

And secondly, will you do the work between calls? Turning up is the smallest part of it. The clinicians who do well here keep self-studying between sessions — the Clinical Practice training, the Vault, the cases most like their own — so they arrive prepared and submit expecting to be corrected. The fortnightly call tests that work; it doesn’t replace it.

Nobody has a clear diary. This just has to matter enough to hold its place in the weeks when work and family are already full.

135+ Consecutively Treated Cases

From Dr. Wong’s clinical work — Growth Protocol outcomes across various malocclusions and growth patterns.

(Individual results vary and are not guaranteed. All cases shown above were treated by Dr. Wong using Orthotropic-type techniques designed for more severe malocclusions, which typically require 3–5 years of treatment. The approach Dr. Wong teaches is a simpler, modified protocol called Postural Orthodontics. It is intended for mild to moderate expansion-only cases, with treatment typically lasting 12–18 months.)

“I truly believe most orthodontic problems begin with poor oral posture. Corrected early, along with
8mm of lower arch expansion, the need for premolar extractions can largely be eliminated.”
